This article is about Spinning-Star Sky, a level in New Super Mario Bros. U. For other uses, see Frosted Glacier-1.

Template:Levelbox Spinning-Star Sky, or Frosted Glacier-1, is the first course of Frosted Glacier. It is unlocked via completion of Morton's Compactor Castle, and its own completion unlocks Cooligan Fields and a spot with a Bubble Baby Yoshi.

Layout

This course is a snow-themed level, with many pine trees, Munchers, Goombas, Koopa Troopas, and star-shaped platforms that spin as the player steps on them. In the background of this level are ice mountains, pine trees and a starlit blue night sky full of constellations. This level also contains many hidden areas that usually contain coins, including one with a Super Star, which the player can use to run across the Munchers ahead.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: In mid-air, after a series of spinning stars.
  • Star Coin 2: After an area of spinning stars, on top of the highest ledge.
  • Star Coin 3: Near the very end of the course, hidden in the ground.
