It's almost time! Most of the presentations later tonight will only include the winner, possibly the runners-up. Complete results with percentage statistics and all the isolated "Other" votes will be added to the below table throughout the night, so please refresh this page after each presentation to see each update.
 
What we can give you now is voting statistics:
*There were a total of '''62''' voters.
*Some votes were filled in as "S" for skipped. There were a maximum of 62*30 = 1860 votes possible, but in reality there were '''1695''' votes, leaving '''165''' votes, or '''8.871%''' of total votes skipped. The maximum amount of times a single award was skipped over was '''18''', leaving '''44''' votes as the low, occurring twice, although two awards were conversely not skipped by any voter.

During the Awards Show next month, the ceremony will reveal 30 award results based on 60+ voters' opinions. However, to spice up the show, instead of making it plain, users have signed up to present the awards. These presentations might go something like this, or could be entirely different:
Awards in order by when presented, first to last. A# is the original Award # as decided by the Awards Committee, with A1 created first and A30 last; Mario Award is the name of the award; Presenter / Link gives an internal link to the presenter's user page & a direct external link to the presentation post in the ceremony thread on the forum; # of Voters shows total out of 62; Results gives everything voted for, including "Other" votes, with percentages and listed from first to last, with the winner bolded and big, runners-up in normal font, 4th-6th in small font, and everything thus after in smaller font.
*Coming on the stage to announce the results, possibly having other members commenting/insulting the presenter while giving out the nominees, even interrupting him/her, making back-and-forth dialogue

The idea is that users can comment on the previous presentation as well as continue script ideas from past presentations or even have separate scripts off-stage (such as a conspiracy behind-the-scenes, almost succeeding but failing at the end). On '''Saturday, August 11th''', we'll have a big awards show chat-and-forum-party blast. We are less than a month away. Besides Award Presentations, there are also user awards &ndash; our most active users will be mentioned for something (a quality) they contribute here (i.e. best writer, most technical, craziest, etc). 40+ users will be recognized.
That all goes down on August 11th from 7-11pm EDT. Chat party starts at 10am on the same day.
In a post-party we will run into the actual day of the wiki's creation, August 12th, at midnight. Make sure you can stay up that night &ndash; you won't want to miss the big countdown.

Award Results

It's almost time! Most of the presentations later tonight will only include the winner, possibly the runners-up. Complete results with percentage statistics and all the isolated "Other" votes will be added to the below table throughout the night, so please refresh this page after each presentation to see each update.

What we can give you now is voting statistics:

  • There were a total of 62 voters.
  • Some votes were filled in as "S" for skipped. There were a maximum of 62*30 = 1860 votes possible, but in reality there were 1695 votes, leaving 165 votes, or 8.871% of total votes skipped. The maximum amount of times a single award was skipped over was 18, leaving 44 votes as the low, occurring twice, although two awards were conversely not skipped by any voter.
  • The mean of the # of votes for each award was 56.5 (91.129% of the max). The median was 59. The mode was 61, just one off the maximum, occurring seven times.
  • There's one more fact that will be revealed after a particular award is presented...stay tuned!
