Mario will hoch hinaus (English translation: Mario is aiming high) is the name of a 2-page comic published in the 4/1991 issue of the German Club Nintendo magazine. It was the first comic to be published in this magazine.

Synopsis

The cartoon starts with Mario enjoying the weather in the Mushroom Kingdom and deciding to take a walk. He jumps around, and despite Princess Peach warning him, he does not see the Block ahead. This leads to him bumping the Block which yields many coins. Trying to impress Peach, Mario uses two Trampolines afterwards. The second one makes him jump extremely high. At the end of the comic, it's already getting darker, and Princess Peach and Toad are still waiting for Mario to come down.

Trivia

  • The opening picture of the comic strip shows Mario doing a high jump. At the bottom Peach and Toad can be seen; there is also a surprised Lakitu in the air. In the background Peach's Castle can be seen.
