Petit Piranhas are Lava Piranhas at their youngest state. Unable to spawn due to extensive internal temperatures, only juvenile Lava Piranhas (known as Lava Buds) are able to reproduce. The seed-like spores they launch are lit at removal of the Lava Bud mouth. Petit Piranhas are able to attack immediately after released, so Lava Buds will fire Petit Piranhas if in danger.
