- This article is about a minigame in Mario Party 2. For the Mario Party 7 minigame of a similar name, see Gimme a Brake.
Template:Minigame-infobox Give Me a Brake! is the item minigame of Western Land in Mario Party 2. Its name is a pun on the phrase "give me a break" and brakes used to stop vehicles.
Gameplay
When the train starts to move around the player, the player has to stop the train by switching the lever to stop. The player will get the item the arrow is pointing at. If the train stops on Baby Bowser, the player gets nothing. If the player loses by running out of time, the train will simply stop by itself on Baby Bowser.
Controls
- – Pull Brake
In-game text
- Game Rules – "Pull the brake to stop the circling locomotive and get the Item that stops in front of you."
- Advice – "The locomotive won't stop immediately when the brake is pulled. Keep in mind that it coasts to a stop."
