Assuming this template isn't also lifted from another wiki, I think it can stay: . I feel that linking to wikia should be acceptable for non-videogame subject matter as well as third-party games not associated with Nintendo. Infact, we already have a wikia pipe markup that works like the old <nowiki>[[wikipedia:stuff|stuff]]</nowiki> methods and it's used on [https://www.mariowiki.com/index.php?title=Special:Search&limit=500&offset=0&profile=default&search=wikia quite a few pages].
'''However''' the examples on the page should be changed to non-NIWA examples, and it should be stressed that we will prioritize linking to NIWA wikis as well as any other indie wiki on any other subject matters. If we pipe a link to "Optimus Prime", it should link to tfwiki dot net instead of the wikia, for example. --[[User:Glowsquid|Glowsquid]] ([[User talk:Glowsquid|talk]]) 11:08, 16 May 2017 (EDT)

Assuming this template isn't also lifted from another wiki, I think it can stay: . I feel that linking to wikia should be acceptable for non-videogame subject matter as well as third-party games not associated with Nintendo. Infact, we already have a wikia pipe markup that works like the old [[wikipedia:stuff|stuff]] methods and it's used on quite a few pages.

However the examples on the page should be changed to non-NIWA examples, and it should be stressed that we will prioritize linking to NIWA wikis as well as any other indie wiki on any other subject matters. If we pipe a link to "Optimus Prime", it should link to tfwiki dot net instead of the wikia, for example. --Glowsquid (talk) 11:08, 16 May 2017 (EDT)
