In Paper Mario, after defeating Lava Piranha on Lavalava Island, Mt. Lavalava will erupt. During the cut-scene a chest is blown out. The chest is on an island in Jade Jungle and inside is the Volcano Vase. Giving the vase to Kolorado in Yoshi Village, causes him to exchange it for a Magical Seed.
