A Revolving Platform is a square-shaped yellow platform that hovers above the ground and found in the game Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Revolving Platforms always come in pairs, since when Mario jumps on one platform, the other platform revolves around it. When Mario jumps to the next platform, the platform he was previously standing one begins to revolve around the second platform (the one he is currently standing on). Thus, these platforms can be used to cross lava-filled rooms or to reach Treasure Boxes that are too high for Mario to reach with his jumping ability.
Note: Not all Revolving Platforms move the same speed; some move fast while others move slow. As such, Mario has to plan his jumps accordingly.
