Screw Attacks are items in the Metroid series. They are also used as weak items in the game, Super Smash Bros. Melee. If a player were to press A near a Screw Attack, he/she would pick it up. If the player were to jump with one in his/her hand, the jump would be very similar to Samus's third jump. Also, if there was another player around the player who jumped with a Screw Attack, that player would take minor damage. These items can also be thrown into another player for minor damage. Also, when thrown, anyone it hits will automatically perform a Screw Attack. Although this hurts them, if they are close to the player when hit, they will hurt him/her.
