The Crystal King was the enemy Mario had to face before Bowser and he also guarded the last Star Spirit, Kalmar. Attacks:
- Crystal Bit Toss: Swallows Crystal Bits and spits them at Mario. Does 4 damage per hit.
- Ice Bolt: Shoots a bolt of ice at Mario. Does 6 damage and can freeze Mario.
