I do this so that you know when I have responded and you don't have to keep checking my talk page for my response - please help me by bringing your conversations to my talk page if so I know when you've responded. My talk page rules are: 1. Keep your messages simple. I am fine with messages. I am fine with long messages. I am fine with images, colours, templates, userboxes, etc. However what I am not fine with is an overload of those things. Use your judgment as to what to post. 2. Please try not to be rude. If you want to yell at another user, don't - it's probably better for the both of you. 3. Don't try to keep a topic near the top of the page going while the bottom of the page has more topics piling up, add a new one. 4. If you must swear (I don't see why because that would conflict rule 2), censor it even if it is a quote. 5. Don't keep nagging me about things, if you've put it on my talk page I will respond, if I haven't responded chances are I haven't been online. 6. If you want to be my friend, add a message on my talk page. All friend userboxes will go into my userpage in the expandable section. If you don't have a userbox, I'll use your initials as the coding for a blank one. 7. If you have a request for me to do something, fine. If you disagree with something I said and want to debate it, fine. But please don't post a message complaining. If you have a reason to complain, I can understand. But if you're just complaining, then I will ignore you.

Re:TPP's

I cannot add a rule. They are to be formatted exactly as regular proposals, as I said in my proposal was to keep all rules of normal proposals. I'm sorry if this is not the case; many of the "OVERTIME" proposals were never formatted correctly and thus never fixed. I tried to fix a few, but I was unable to do all. As far as archiving goes, you can view two examples of archived talk page proposals here and there. This is how all future talk page proposals will be archived. Sorry for any inconvenience. Ehh... I didn't set up the overtime rule, and, to be honest, I've never even looked at any of those "metal" TPP's... I suggest that they either be decided at a given date (say, next Friday or something) or simply deleted and left to be started anew. Sorry, I'm not much help this time. Thank you for letting me know the result of those proposals. I haven't been around much, and I honestly though nothing would happen for a long while. I split the information and re-wrote it a little, but a lot of work still needs to be done. I'll poke around here and there, but ultimately I can't do too much on my own. Toad Brigade Captain as Toad

Thanks for the welcome, Marioguy1!

The reason for this is due to the fact that it's pretty much confirmed by now that he is Toad rather than a generic Toad. There are more hints that he is instead that he is not: -He has the same kind of personality (cowardly yet loyal and trying - also impatient) -has an important key role and is a red toad -His bios for mario galaxy state so (probably biggest source of proof considering that it gave information about the character himself) -He knows Mario rather well before meeting him in both game (he seems to have known him rather well before the game took place) -Official artwork has been provided for Toad in galaxy which is reused for him in later spinoff games as well. -Sunshine artwork as well for areas such as in Toad's factory in Mario kart wii. -he has a reason to be courageous and help Mario to save peach. -instruction booklet for sunshine names him as Toad specifically (Peach's attendant in singular not attendants). -the intro of mario galaxy has him in a blue vest with the other members of the toad brigade.

It is likely that we will never get any confirmation from nintendo on whether he is or not the captain but from these bios and hints, we should name him so as the captain. Also, he never named himself as red Toad in these games as in the galaxy ones, he names himself solely as the Toad Brigade captain just because he has a headlamp (making his name as red toad not official - just something we assume since he has a red vest).

Bio: (here is his bio as you requested- it's from the mario galaxy collectible card game (one of the few bios that he (and the Toad Brigade) got):

Toad is Princess Peach's closest confidant and sworn protector. Typically Toad is a happy character, as seen by the constant smile on his face. But now he has reason to be concerned. His beloved princess has been kidnapped by Bowser, and Toad will stop at nothing to help find her. Just when all is feared lost, Toad and his friends appear in their Mushroom-shaped ships and help guide Mario on his quest to save Princess Peach.
