Mid-flight, the stork is attacked by Kamek, who captures him and Baby Luigi while Baby Mario is dropped on Egg Island, a location similar to Yoshi's Island. Mario & Nintendo Nieuws New details were revealed about the Nintendo Switch 2 in the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct presentation broadcast on April 2, 2025, including a voice and video chat feature called GameChat, enhanced versions of Nintendo Switch games including Super Mario Party Jamboree, an enhanced Expansion Pack for Nintendo Switch Online that includes Nintendo GameCube games (including Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Strikers, and Luigi's Mansion), and a release date of June 5, 2025 for the system. The Mario Kart game for the system was revealed in full as Mario Kart World (pictured) and is set to be released at the system's launch; along with a new 3D Donkey Kong game titled Donkey Kong Bananza, which is set to be released on July 17, 2025.
