It has been requested that this article be rewritten.

The template pertains to articles by default; to make it about a specific section instead, type {{rewrite|section=yes}}. A specific reason for the rewrite request can be added as a variable, i.e. {{rewrite|of poor grammar}} (or {{upcoming|of poor grammar|section=yes}} for a section-specific request reason). Separate templates can be used if the article (or section) needs to be expanded: {{rewrite-expand}}, or is the tense is incorrect: {{tense}}. The date that the template is added should also be included as a second variable, i.e. {{rewrite|of poor grammar|May 6, 2014}}, or {{rewrite||May 6, 2014}} if no specific issues are listed (and {{rewrite|of poor grammar|May 6, 2014|section=yes}} or {{rewrite||May 6, 2014|section=yes}} for section-specific requests). With all variables included (including section), the template will read "It has been requested that this section be rewritten because of poor grammar (tagged on May 6, 2014)."
