Tadpoles are the larval forms of frogs or toads that appear in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Prince Mallow thought that he was a Tadpole, but he turned out to be a cloud creature from Nimbus Land.
The Tadpoles are visited by Mario once at Tadpole Pond, where the hero meets Frogfucius. The Tadpoles mainly serve as a bridge to allow Mario to cross over the pond.
