A Scaratroopea is a winged Elite Troopea found in the Beanbean Kingdom in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Mario and Luigi encountered Scaratroopeas in Joke's End. Its abilities remain largely the same as a Paratroopea, only it moves much faster and and can heal all enemies, and can also revive his allies.
Trivia
- "Scaratroopea" comes from a pun on the "para-" prefix used in "Paratroopea" and the word "scare", which means "to frighten".
- According to the Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga official guide, this enemy is called "Soaratroopea". This name was likely a typo of the immensely similar "Scaratroopea", but "Soaratroopea" does happen to make sense (as "soar" means "to fly").
