:The name is a bit esoteric, but it encompasses a specific-though-broad group of species, including starfish(es?), urchins, sea cucumbers, sand dollars, sea lilies, and more (though atm it's only urchins and starfish), so the term fills a spot more specific than "[[:Category:Underwater Creatures|Underwater Creatures]]" but more general than a category only for the Echinoderms' species. If there's an alternative and simpler name you can come up with, be my guest and suggest it, but for what the category's trying to accomplish, I think "echinoderm" is the only term. {{User:Time Turner/sig}}

Is this category name a tad too technical for this wiki? Mario It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 17:53, 20 September 2015 (EDT)

The name is a bit esoteric, but it encompasses a specific-though-broad group of species, including starfish(es?), urchins, sea cucumbers, sand dollars, sea lilies, and more (though atm it's only urchins and starfish), so the term fills a spot more specific than "Underwater Creatures" but more general than a category only for the Echinoderms' species. If there's an alternative and simpler name you can come up with, be my guest and suggest it, but for what the category's trying to accomplish, I think "echinoderm" is the only term. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
