In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it can be found in the X-Naut Fortress, inside of a giant crane game that can only be used after returning the Cog to the crane. If Mario is equipped with the badge, he becomes immune to a variety of status effects, including Allergic, Poison, Dizzy, Sleep, Electrified, and others.
