King Boo's Haunted Hideaway is a game board in Mario Party 8. It is a haunted mansion-themed board, similar to Horror Land from Mario Party 2. This board is very unique in the fact you can always see only a few spaces ahead of your character, even when veiwing map. The board changes every time, so it's hard to keep your bearings. King Boo will be hiding somewhere on the game board, and when a player finds him twice, he will give the character who found him (twice) a star. He'll then hide again and the board will be rearanged. There are also dead ends and you can end up being stuck back at the beginning, outside the mansion. There's also a Whomp on the game board that blocks the path of players passing through his area of the game board (which happens in Horror Land as well). A Pink Boo is also seen on the board. It runs the Candy Shop.
