Template:Newsubject Template:Minigame-infobox Mega Monty Mole's Maze Mischief is a Boss Battle minigame in Mario Party 10. It pits the players against a huge Monty Mole, and serves as the midboss battle of Airship Central.
Intro
The players are shown aboard a large airship with a colorful maze taking up most of the main deck and four cannons of various sizes on the back of the ship. A large balloon with a Monty Mole face rises from the clouds behind the airship, carrying a giant flowerpot - moments later, Mega Monty Mole pops out of the pot. He shakes the dirt (and a flower) off of his head as the players jump into a pipe on the bow of the airship, emerging in the maze as the game begins.
Gameplay
Players have fifteen seconds to work their way through the maze and get to the stairs at the end. Anyone who makes it to the stairs within the time limit gets to use a cannon against Mega Monty Mole - anyone who fails to reach the stairs is stuck where they are.
The first player to make it out of the maze gets a huge gold cannon which is worth five points, second gets a large silver cannon which is worth three points, third gets a medium bronze cannon which is worth two points, and fourth gets a small iron cannon which is worth one point. Each shot has a different effect on Mega Monty Mole - the gold cannon will nearly knock him out of his balloon, while the iron cannon barely makes him flinch. After the players' attacks, Mega Monty Mole will throw a massive bomb into the labyrinth, scrambling the maze as the players jump into pipes at the back of the ship. Anyone still stuck in the maze gets blown out, losing 1 point in the process. Either way, the four players return to the beginning of the new maze to repeat the process.
After Mega Monty Mole loses half of his health, he will scatter small bombs in the maze when he reconfigures it after each attack. The bombs can block player progress until they explode, at which point they will knock nearby players into the air if they are caught in the explosion. Apart from the bombs, the game plays the same as before.
When Mega Monty Mole is defeated, he collapses in his balloon and disappears in a puff of smoke. The player who scored the final blow gets an extra five points before the final scores are tallied. Template:BoxTop
