The Koopa Cannon is the machine on Baby Bowser's Koopa Cruiser in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. Baby Bowser used it's ability to shoot massive spiky balls to attack Shroobs soldiers and knock Shroob UFOs out of the sky. If not for this weapon, Mario and Luigi would have stayed stuck in the past without their younger selves to accompany them.
Trivia
In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, the Koopa Cruiser was used, but there was never a single mention of the Koopa Cannon.
