When a [[Characters|character]] pratfalls, they fall over and are temporarily immobilized. The player will have to get up from the ground by [[jump]]ing, rolling, or attacking, which is called a floor attack. This can create chances for opponents to attack the player. Pratfalling can be caused by sudden movements, such as running, changing direction, or falling on ice. Running on a [[Banana|Banana Peel]] creates the same effect.
