From the person who edited the 7.0 to 6.0: After losing to a particularly brutal fight where in the redo I had to get both opponents to over 150% to win at 6.0 intensity, I fought Master Core at the reduced intensity of 5.5, though he started in his second form (the five sword things.) I know you don't face him at 4.0, but I'm not sure about between 4.1 and 5.5.

I tried at 4.0 with Dedede and I didn't face him. I thought so. I tried 5.1 and I faced him. When I will ever have time I will try 5.0. If you don't then it's obvious that you won't face him at 4.9 or lower YoshiCGicon.pngTSUNAMIArtwork of Plessie with the four playable characters, from Super Mario 3D World.

Master Core appearance in Smash Wii U

Has anyone confirmed that Master Core appears at intensity 5.1 in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U? One of the game's challenges says to clear Classic at intensity 5.5 or higher, so I assumed that Master Core will only appear at intensity 5.5 and above in that game. Split Master Core Forms

I think that, being a final boss, we should create a separate article on each of the forms of Master Core. Now, since, in the special moves box, putting in different subheadings is likely out of the question, either we should list them out in a separate section of the page, or we move each form to its own page with its own strategy. We could also just do nothing...

Split into different forms

  1. Megamario15 (talk) Per proposal.
  2. Toadbrigade5 (talk) Per proposal.
  3. 1337star (talk) Consistency with pages such as Czar Dragon/Zombone, Dark Fawful/Dark Bowser/Dark Star Core, etc.

Individual page sections for each

  1. Baby Luigi (talk) The Master Core forms are ultimately still part of Master Core. They are distinct in that I agree with making separate page sections but not different enough to make separate pages. Keep the page merged, make different sections for them.
  2. Yoshi876 (talk) Per Baby Luigi.
  3. Aokage (talk) Per Baby Luigi.
  4. Chocolate Mario (talk) "More the merrier" in terms of page creation would be unsatisfactory here. Per Baby Luigi.
  5. Dfrthyui (talk) Per Baby Luigi.
  6. Mario (talk) Nope. Unlike the other forms 1337star has mentioned, all of these forms encompass one being, Master Core.
  7. SuperYoshiBros (talk) Being the final boss is a bad reason; Bowser and Giant Bowser are both merged.
  8. Pseudo-dino (talk) Per Mario.
  9. Laikue (talk) Per all. Heck, Smashwiki doesn't even do this.

Do Nothing

Comments

In retrospect, I doubt that putting up a "do nothing" option was the best thing to do. People want to get things done here, not ignore all of our insignificant pages. I don't think that anyone will put something there. Megamario15 - The REAL Mario (talk) 17:26, 8 January 2015 (EST)

They will. People don't always agree these pages should be created. Sometimes they will oppose the creation.Artwork of the Toad Brigade from Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.Toad and his brigade!Toadette model CTTT.png 18:56, 8 January 2015 (EST)
Well, thank you. I am not that good at predicting people's actions. I put the option up just in case. Megamario15 - The REAL Mario (talk) 18:59, 8 January 2015 (EST)

A do nothing option is needed because you need to anticipate that some people like the way things are. People like to get things done, but sometimes, it's fine the way it is. Seeing how this proposal is going, sections are going to be created, but it's not like it requires a proposal due to the wildly differing forms of Master Core. Splitting the page, on the other hand, does require a talk page proposal, due to an action that requires discussion first. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. Thank you for explaining why I need the option. Seeing as I'm new here and also relatively inexperienced, I just thought I'd mention that. Maybe my next one will be better. Megamario15 - The REAL Mario (talk) 16:12, 9 January 2015 (EST)
Yes, it's always great to ask questions for clarify and more information, especially if you're inexperienced. That's what we encourage here. :) Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 16:47, 9 January 2015 (EST)
Thank you. You seem to be good at helping new people. Anyway, I hope that there are more people ready to offer their opinions on this topic. I have a Prima guide for the game that has all of its special moves. I could use that, because judging by the volume of people in the second option, the Master Core page is becoming longer in 2 weeks. Megamario15 - The REAL Mario (talk) 17:13, 9 January 2015 (EST)

@SuperYoshiBros. I know that being a final boss was a bad reason. I just found it a bit hard to find a good opening. Just curious, what would you have said if you made the proposal? It may help me (the inexperienced user) in the future. Megamario15 - The REAL Mario (talk) 22:24, 9 January 2015 (EST)
