Once Upon a Koopa is the second thematic DVD of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, whose theme is, as title says creatively, episodes based about fairytales and novels. The DVD was released by nCircle Entertainment, in December 18, 2007.
The DVD contains the following episodes:
- Episode 7: Mario and the Beanstalk
- Episode 18: The Adventures of Sherlock Mario
- Episode 21: Koopenstein
- Episode 25: Hooded Robin and His Mario Men
- Episode 44: Little Red Riding Princess
The episodes were taken from the same database of the full boxset of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, with no live-action segments, which were cut from them. However, because the live-action segment of Koopenstein was already removed from it, this is the only episode that plays the credits song in its end.
