A Blueprint is an item in Donkey Kong 64. They are, as the name suggests, blueprints for King K. Rool's Blast-o-Matic machine. The only way to get them is to defeat one of five Kasplats in each level. Each one of the Kongs can collect their own color blueprint (yellow for Donkey Kong, red for Diddy, etc.) Every time a blueprint is given to Snide, the Kongs receive a Golden Banana. Also, every time one is collected, more time is added on to the timer in the last level, Hideout Helm. Once the Kongs collect all the blueprints, Snide will show them a secret batch of minigames. However, getting all the blueprints is not necessary to win the game.
