A Bucket is an item used in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and in Paper Mario.
In Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, they only appear in a few levels of the game. As the name suggests, it is a hanging bucket hanging on the wall or ceiling. It is knocked down by throwing an egg at it. Usually Coin's pop out as they fall down onto the floor; or times they might contain enemies. Sometimes the player has to ride it across Lava or Water.
The mayor of Shiver City will give Mario an ordinary bucket in Paper Mario after the plumber gets the Scarf from Merle. Put it on a snowman in Shiver Snowfield to help open the doorway to Shiver Mountain and the Crystal Palace.
Trivia
- In the Beta version of the game, this item was called the Marvelous Bucket.
