The Duel of 100 is the Sammer Guy Tournament held in Sammer's Kingdom during Super Paper Mario. Mario, Peach, and Bowser entered it to recieve the Pure Heart held by King Sammer. After 20 fights, The Void grew so large that that Rolling Thwomp had to rush through the gates, plowing through the remaining Sammer Guys, and forcing the player to stop fighting. After the game is finished, however, the gang, now with Luigi, can reenter to fight all kinds of Sammer Guys with unique names.

There are 25 rounds per Chapter. The chapters serve only as checkpoints where Mario could save, however; even if he is in Chapter 6-4, by using the Return Pipe he must start over from Chapter 6-1.
