Kevin the Yoshi, known as YellowYoshi1 on Super Mario Wiki, is a Yellow Yoshi who first appeared in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
History
Super Mario series
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
As an egg, Kevin the Yoshi and other Yoshis were captured by Morton Koopa Jr. and hidden in a ? Block in level 6-4. Fortuanately, Kevin was rescued by Mario and helped him travel through World 6. However, Kevin chose to stay in World 6 with his friends instead of traveling with Mario to World 7. After Mario left, Kevin was attacked and captured by a group of Monty Moles. On his way to Bowser's Castle after being defeated by Mario, Lemmy Koopa traveled through World 6 and rescued Kevin. After that, Kevin the Yoshi and Lemmy Koopa became good friends.
New Super Mario Bros. 2
To repay Lemmy Koopa for rescuing him, Kevin offered to help Lemmy Koopa take over World Flower. Lemmy used his Magic Scepter to temporarily transform Kevin into a Lakitu. Lemmy, Kevin, and Lemmy's army took over World Flower. However, Kevin was defeated by Mario in World 
Flower-B.
