Sawmill Thrill is the fourth level of Autumn Heights, and the twelfth overall in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. It is a minecart level, taking place on a track running through a machinery mill area, hence the name.
Overview
The level starts out in a rainforest (similar to the one in Horn Top Hop during a rainstorm. Soon after, there is a Barrel Cannon that will shoot the Kongs into a minecart, which will start rolling through a long track. Collectibles
K-O-N-G Letters
- K: Soon after entering the sawmill, located above the first sliding wood platform.
- O: Above the Hot Hootz on the floating leaves.
- N: Above the area with the blowing pipes and Pufftons, can be reached from the climbing grass.
- G: In between the two Trench Tucks after the third checkpoint, above the pipe blowing air.
Puzzle Pieces
- Behind the part where the Kongs start out is a hidden climbing grass wall, which leads to the first Puzzle Piece.
- Above the climbing grass near where the Schnautzel is.
- After the leaf-platform gap, there is a secret area next to where the Puffton is flying, where the Kongs must collect all the bananas in less than 30 seconds to receive the third puzzle piece.
- After the third checkpoint, the fourth Puzzle Piece will pop out of the same hole the Pointy Trench Tuck was in.
- Appears after all the bananas on the round grass-covered platform in the secret area before the end of the level, are collected.
