One Porcupo.
Porcupo are purple hedgehog-like creatures found in Super Mario Bros. 2. They pace back and forth and are usually in groups of around two or more. To defeat a Porcupo a player must throw objects at a Porcupo. In the original Super Mario Bros. 2 on the NES, Porcupo were colored black (although this was most likely due to the coloring limitations of the NES, as official artwork still depicted Porcupo as purple).
Appearances In Other Media
Porcupo made only one small appearance in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, as antagonists in the episode "On Her Majesty's Sewer Service / 9001: A Mario Odyssey".
