| As many of you know, the latest buzz on the boards this summer was '''Awards Mafia II''' (running from mid-July to August) which ended with the Mafia claiming victory. As in any Awards game, tokens were awarded to all members of the winning faction.

| Because nearly everyone was focusing on Awards Mafia, other games yet to begin or in progress were put on hold or even cancelled, as was the case with Ogmo ({{user|Pyro}}'s Volcano Mafia.

| The only Mafias active during the Awards Game was cryoAwakening ({{user|Baby Mario Bloops}})'s Homestuck Mafia, which recently ended with victory belonging to The Felt faction. Also, Legendary Pokemon Mafia, hosted by Cirdec ({{user|Cirdec}}) was also going, but slower than usual. After Awards Mafia however, games began to start back up. NSY ({{User|NSY}}'s Jungle Mafia started in late August, and is currently up and running. Other games with this status include Nene Amano ({User|Smg2daisy}})'s "Mafia of Me", and Toad's Mafia, hosted by 85 ({{user|Toad Eightyfive}}). Both games started in mid-September.
