The Red Paragoomba is a sub-species of Paragoomba first identified in Super Mario Bros. 3 , its remake and Super Princess Peach. They are reddish brown in color, and can be easily defeated by Mario, Luigi, or Princess Peach.

In this game, Red Paragoombas were a weak form of Paragoomba. They hopped along the ground, attempting to run into Mario.
