Wind Wavers is a Duel mini-game found in Mario Party 5.

The mini-game's main object is to escape from the giant Tweester by waving a fan at it. The player must alternatively tap L and R as fast as possible. As time runs out, the Tweester's sucking power becomes considerably stronger, so it's recommended for the player to gradually increment the speed in which he or she presses the L and R buttons.

This mini-game takes place in the sky. The characters are standing on yellow-colored clouds and the Tweester is floating in front of them in a 3/4 view. The sky, unlike other Mario Party mini-games, is gray and cloudy, which suggests a hurricane or a cold day.

Interestingly, this is one the few mini-games which don't use the red and blue patterns for Players 1 and 2. Instead, each character has his or her unique fan color. For example, Mario uses a red fan, Luigi uses a blue fan and Boo uses a light blue fan.

It's also interesting to note that not long after the mini-game commences, the Tweester sucks in a Paratroopa and sends it flying away a few seconds later.

In-Game Instructions

Escape from the Tweester by jumping on the clouds and using a fan to get away.

Advice
