Did she really voiced Birdo in MKW? Cause i been doing research about this subject and Birdo sound exactly the same as in previous games she appear in. L151
Actually, Birdo sounds different in Mario Kart Double Dash!! She just sounds deeper in that game than in Mario Kart Wii. If Birdo sounded same, then there would be recycled voice clips, but Mario Kart Wii didn't recycle a single voice clip from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Mario-HOHO! Still though, i assume that this voice actress voiced one of the Mii in the game, cause while i was looking this up i learn her name also credit as Mii. Also, before this article was made, it probably got started from Wikipedia L151
- OK, I took a big list of the staff from MKW and then deleted all of the staff who voiced non-Birdo characters - she was the only staff member left. Unless Birdo's voice actor wasn't listed on the list of actors, I'd say that Yuko is indeed Birdo's voice actor. Marioguy1 (talk)
I agree with Marioguy1, and by the way, Birdo does not sound exactly the same as in previous games, click here: Mario Party 7 Voices and here: Mario Kart Wii IN-GAME Voices: Birdo (just download the sounds, they are(.wav) :D Birdobeauties
There are multiple sources that point to Yuhko Kaida being the voice actor for Birdo, such as here, here, and here. I believe this answers the question. GreenDisaster (talk) 23:42, 27 August 2012 (EDT)
The bottom line[edit]
Yuko Kaida was a Mii voice. She was not Birdo.
Birdo was Kazumi Totaka, using the same voice he's given the Shy Guys since Yoshi's Story. Said voice can essentially be described as a "muzzled Yoshi." Mario Party 8's clips make this disturbingly obvious. Kyubihanyou (talk) 22:34, 17 October 2013 (EDT)
I highly suspected and agree that she didn't voice Birdo, also the voices between Birdo and Shy Guy do sound similar.
