Miis are characters who have appeared with Wario in WarioWare: Smooth Moves and Mario in Mario Party 8. In WarioWare: Smooth Moves the Miis star in multiplayermode and in a few of the micro games. One of the multiplayer modes starring the Miis is very similar to the minigame Balloon Bang.
Miis come from the Mii plaza and like to play sports and games with each other. It is generally considered that this takes place outside The Mushroom Kingdom.
