Mama is an Arabian girl and the female secondary character in the Japanese video game Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic. She has a husband named Papa, a daughter named Lina, a son named Imajin, and twin sons named Poki and Piki. Mama is replaced by Luigi in Super Mario Bros. 2.
History
Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic
Mama makes her debut in this game, where she must rescue, with her family, her two twin sons from the malevolent King Mamu (Wart in the western version). Mama has the ability to jump higher and lightly hover at the top of her jumps.
Influence on the Mario series
Super Mario Bros. 2
This game is based on Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic, and all playable characters are replaced by characters from Super Mario Bros.. Mama is replaced by Luigi in this game. Luigi, like Mama, has the ability to jump higher and lightly hover at the top of her jumps.
Appearance
In the official artwork of Mama, she is tall, and wears Arabian clothing consisting of a dark blue cap, a blue dress, and blue pointy shoes.
