Dreamcap Captains are purple, supposedly layered Capnap-like creatures that appear in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.. They appear in groups with Dreamcaps and they are the captains of the groups that makes sure they are able to attack each turn. If the player defeats all the Dreamcap Captains in the Dreamcap group, the Dreamcaps will huddle together and one will run away with each turn. If all Dreamcaps are defeated and the Dreamcap Captain(s) is/are left standing, it/they'll summon 4-5 more Dreamcaps to then be able to attack.
