Template:Minigame-infobox Circuit Maximus is a 4-player minigame in Mario Party 6. The minigame's name is a reference to the Circus Maximus, which was a racing arena in Ancient Rome.
In the Miracle Book of the game, there is a page involving Circuit Maximus; the page's name is "Amp Attack"
There are only aesthetic changes between day and night.
Introduction
The camera zooms to the start point as several Amps emerge from hatches in the center of the room.
Gameplay
The game takes place in an octagon circuit with many Amps in it. Players must get through the circuit by passing through the gates in each section while avoiding the Amps. If a player touches an Amp, it stuns them for a few moments. Each section has more and more Amps, making it harder for the player to get through as the game progresses. Some Amps move about the room; others remain stationary The goal is to get all the way around the octagon the fastest.
Ending
The other three players are seen being chased by a pair of Amps around a podium on which the winner stands.
