When fought in Dream World, Dreamy Mario uses several attacks such as running into Mario, copying Mario's attacks (inclusive using items), making clones of himself and making his damaged clones charge at Mario.
When fought in Dream World, Dreamy Mario will primarily attack with a herd of weak clones by having them charge at Mario that must be dodged by jumping. If the main clone is stomped during this attack, the attack will instantly stop. Any clone Mario ends up stomping, either by counter-attacking or directly attacking, will fly back at Mario after the turn, in which they must be dodged again. Occasionally, Antasma will attack by laying out a stream of coins interspersed with fireballs. With careful dodging, Mario can easily gain several coins and even a Mushroom. Antasma can also attack by having Mario chase after him, launching fireballs and sending invincible Mario clones.

Clones attack the same as Dreamy Mario, but when they are attacked, they will charge in Mario at high speed, and as it must be countered with the hammer and they come immediately after each other, it's almost impossible to avoid this attack.
To win, Mario must defeat the primary clone, which spawns a new batch once the weaker ones have been defeated. It will mix itself up among the group, so Mario has to keep an eye on it to avoid losing track.

Dreamy Mario can only be damaged using perfect attacks, and he can heal himself with 18200 HP (all his HP) whenever he wants. Also, using unperfect attacks or Dreamy Mario's attacks can instantly kill Mario.

Battle

To win, Mario must defeat the primary clone, which spawns a new batch once the weaker ones have been defeated. It will mix itself up among the group, so Mario has to keep an eye on it to avoid losing track.

Trivia
