Jade Blooper
The Guardian of the first gate. His name is a pun on a Blooper. He is a Green Sammer Guy.
Hills With Eyes
The Guardian of the second gate. His name is a pun on the hills of Super Mario Bros.
Puffing Fist
The Guardian of the third gate.
Squatting Birdo
He has Birdo in his name.
Leeping Cheep
His name is a pun on a flying Cheep-Cheep.
Master Wiggler
He has Wiggler in his name.
Shoe of Kuribo
His name is a pun on the Kuribo's Shoe.
Guy Who Fry
His name is suprisingly a pun on Fry Guy, who has not been seen for long.

He is a blue sammer guy with a moustache who got expelled from Sweaty Palms Martial Arts Academy. He used to be the top student, but got expelled for using forbidden slapping techniques. The two Sammer Guys before him are his bros. In the end, they convince him to rejoin the academy.

An Arantula is a Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
Another Castle
His name is a pun on Toad's famous saying, "Thank you, Mario. But our Princess is in another castle!"
Rolling Thwomp
This might refer to Spiny Tromps.
