The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.

“Welcome! Go ahead and sling a thing.”
Sling-a-Thing Toad, Paper Mario: Sticker Star

Template:Character-infobox The Sling-a-Thing Toad is a purple-spotted Toad in Decalburg who runs the Sling-a-Thing Stand. His stand will open after Mario has collected the Fan Thing in Bouquet Gardens. His job is to convert Things into stickers for free. If Mario is out of Things and talks with the Sling-a-Thing Toad, he will tell Mario to check the wall near him, where the Shady Toad sells Things. The shopkeeper toad of Decalburg gets jealous of him when he hears that a new shop has just opened. His motto is "Perky".

When tattled, Kersti will comment: "This operation looks pretty shady, but I have to admit, the thing stickers are pretty amazing." A Red Toad at the Outlook Point runs the same business.

Quotes

  • Ah, look! You have a wonderful thing! My perk sensor can just tell.
  • So?! Pretty darn miraculous, huh?
  • You come over here, you fling a thing, and HEY PRESTO! It becomes a sticker. I call it a "thing sticker" because I'm a bit of marketing genius.
  • How about that! Pretty perky, no? From now on, stickers don't have to be something you find... They can be something you make too.
  • Stay perky.

Trivia

  • Both "selling Things" and "creating Thing stickers" are heavily implied to be illegal, referencing real-life black markets.
