===Geography of Dinosaur Land===

[[Yoshi's Island (place)|Yoshi's Island]], the first world of Dinosuar Land, is in the southwest part of the land. It has a mountain which has Yellow Switch Palace on it. Like the first world of many Mario games, it is a grassland-themed world. North of it is the Donut Plains, a large plain with a lake in the center. Donut Plains is also generally grassland-themed, and it has mountains that are shown on the world map. The path leads to the [[Vanilla Dome]], a mountain cave with a lake and underground hills. The top of Vanilla Dome can be acessed from inside Vanilla Dome through secret exits and has two levels. One of the levels (Vanilla Secret 3) is in a lake, and there's also a waterall that the Vanilla Fortress is on. Next to Vanilla Dome is Cookie Mountain, another mountain. There is a bridge ([[Cheese Bridge]]) connecting the two mountains. Cookie Mountain is a high mountain, because there are clouds in the background. Down from Cookie Mountain there is a ladder leading to the [[Forest of Illusion]]. The Forest of Illusion is a maze of trees. The path leading out from it goes to a small island, and then to [[Chocolate Island]], a chocolate-brown colored island. The island has many hills and obstacles. A path from [[Wendy Koopa|Wendy]]'s castle goes into the sea to a [[Sunken Ghost Ship]], which is the entrance to the [[Valley of Bowser]], a cave shaped like [[Bowser]]'s head. This is where Bowser is fought. Somewhere above Dinosaur Land is [[Star World]], a secret world on a star. The connection between Dinosuar Land and Special World is unknown.


Anyone should feel free to add on as much as they want. You can also edit what I wrote if you want to make it sound better. Once there's a bit about each location, I'll add it to the article. Come on, SMW lovers: add more!
Wait, change it back to Dinosaur Land! They don't call it Dinosaur Island on the remake, just on the official site. Son of Suns changed it? Time Q, is it really "point of view" to say it's odd the bridge is seen as whole but is actually broken? What if you saw a whole bridge far away and came to it and it was broken? What kind of person would say it wasn't odd? Never mind, it doesn't REALLY matter. {{User:CrystalYoshi/sig}}
Just out of curiosity, why do people think that the Yoshi's Island in Dinosaur Land and Yoshi's Island in the Yoshi games are seperate? Sure, in the Yoshi games, you don't see the other landmasses. But in Super Mario World, Mario created a bridge that created a path to the rest of Dinosaur Land. Of course that bridge didn't exist in SMW2:Yoshi's Island, because Mario didn't make the bridge yet. An artwork of Dinosaur Land from the remake exists. It was shown on a flyer. I've got it at home somewhere, I'll see if I can find it and get the chance to scan it later this week.

Is it true that this was renamed Dinosaur Island in the remake? If so, the article should be moved to Dinosaur Island, as that is the most canonically correct name. -- Son of Suns

I don't think there's enough information in this article. It should have a little bit about the geography of Dinosaur Land, and maybe some interesting features.

Okay, I'll answer you then :P Actually I think you're right, it would be a good idea to add something about the geography. Would be great if you could do it, since nobody else seems to wish to take care of it right now. You could also add the {{rewrite-expand}} tag at the top of the page. Yoshi's Island[edit]

Just out of curiosity, why do people think that the Yoshi's Island in Dinosaur Land and Yoshi's Island in the Yoshi games are seperate? Sure, in the Yoshi games, you don't see the other landmasses. Map artwork[edit]

An artwork of Dinosaur Land from the remake exists. It was shown on a flyer. I've got it at home somewhere, I'll see if I can find it and get the chance to scan it later this week.
