Refreshing Herbs resemble a four-leaf clover and can generally be bought in shops for low prices. They could be thought as the counterpart of the Tasty Tonic of the Paper Mario series. They can be used in battle to quickly cure whoever has the status ailment, whether it be Mario, Luigi, Bowser or whoever is fighting.
