Template:Location-infobox The United States of America (Spanish: Estados Unidos de América; French: États-Unis d'Amérique; Hawaiian: ʻAmelika Huipūʻia), often referred to as simply the United States or America, is a country on Earth, located on the continent of North America. Mario and Luigi's hometown of Brooklyn is located here.
The only real appearance of the United States in a video game is in NES Open Tournament Golf. The United States of America is one of the three levels in the game. The other two are Japan and the United Kingdom.
In several episodes of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, various locations in America were traveled to. Those include Brooklyn, Washington, D.C., Hawaii, Hollywood, New York City, Kansas and Florida.
In "Reptiles in the Rose Garden", Bowser and Kootie Pie Koopa take over America by traveling to Washington, D.C. and abducting the President by warping the White House to Dark Land. Until the President's return, Bowser makes Kootie Pie "Empress of America".
