Porcupos are purple hedgehog-like creatures found in Super Mario Bros. 2. They pace back and forth and are usually in groups of around two or more. In the original Super Mario Bros. 2 on the NES, Porcupos were colored black (although this was most likely due to the coloring limitations of the NES, as official artwork still depicted Porcupos as purple).
Appearances In Other Media
Porcupoes made only one small appearance in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, as antagonists in the episode "On Her Majesty's Sewer Service / 9001: A Mario Odyssey".
Trivia
- Although unconfirmed, Harry Hedgehogs may be relatives of Porcupos.
