The Nintendo Player's Guide for Super Mario 64 refers to this penguin as both the Big Penguin and the Penguin Champ. While both of those names should certainly be used on this article, I'm unsure of which one should be the title. For reference, the little box that gives information on the bosses/characters used to get Power Stars is titled "Penguin Champ", whereas the prose of both that box and the walkthrough for the Power Star in question consistently calls him "the Big Penguin". The Star itself is also called "Big Penguin Race", both in the guide and in-game. However, later in the guide, the large penguin in Snowman's Land is also called "Big Penguin" in its little box thing, which leads me to perhaps think that "Big Penguin" is a species name (like Grand Goomba, Big Boo, etc.). So, yeah. Thoughts? 1337star (talk) 18:13, 12 October 2012 (EDT) |
