Gather Coins is the name of a Mini Battle from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It involves, as the name states, gathering coins.
Gameplay consists of jumping to get coins shot out of a cannon. The player must get more coins than their Bandit opponent to win. If Yoshi wins, he will get a random item. It should be noted that the coins can be licked up, making it easier for the player. The player can also stomp on the Bandit to stun him for a short while, and the Bandit can also stun the player by jumping on them.
