Stone is a status effect in the game Paper Mario. Mario gains this status when he uses a Stone Cap. The animation for the Stone status depicts him crouched and constantly blocking. While in Stone form, the plumber is impervious to enemy attacks. However, it also prevents Mario from moving.
It was going to appear in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door but removed for unknown reasons.
The Invisible status grants the same invulnerability as the Stone status, but still allows Mario to use attacks.
Trivia
- The Stone status is similar to Metal Mario and Statue Mario's abilities.
