Template:Minigame-infobox Deck Dry Bones is a boss minigame in Mario Party 9. It is the mini-boss battle against Dry Bones of Boo's Horror Castle.
Introduction
The players are standing on a rock platform, Dry Bones appears and then jumps into the air. Several cards then appear on screen.
Gameplay
Each card has a colour and shape on the back of them. The player must memorize which card has which colour. After the cards flip over, Dry Bones will land on one of the platforms, and the player must pick one of the cards that matches the platform he is standing on. If the player chooses correctly, Dry Bones will be damaged, and the player will be rewarded with three points. If the player chooses a Dry Bones card, Dry Bones will toss a bone at them, causing them to lose points. Picking a card that does not match in color will cause nothing to happen. Once Dry Bones loses a bit of HP, more colours will appear. Sometimes, cards will be shuffled after they are flipped over. Once Dry Bones is defeated, he will crumble and leave behind Mini Stars.
The player or players who lands the final attack will earn an additional three points, and the player with the most points wins.
