MEAT BOY is a downloadable microgame made by Edmund McMillen in WarioWare: D.I.Y. and WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase. It was released in America since April 26, 2010, and in Europe since May 14, 2010. It is a Big Name Game.
Gameplay
The microgame is based on the Super Meat Boy , a game that was developed by Team Meat for WiiWare. The game starts off with Meat Boy and his girlfriend Band-Aid Girl who is actually his nemesis Dr. Fetus in disguise. The player has to tap Meat Boy to run into Band-Aid Girl. The objective of the game is to let Meat Boy touch Band-Aid Girl, so that she turns into Dr. Fetus, and the game is won. If Meat Boy doesn't get to his girlfriend in time, the game automatically ends in a loss.
