Seen in [[Paper Mario]] and [[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]. The switches that are colored in blue can be used once and the switches colored red can be used again and again.
First seen in [[Super Mario World]]. The switches come in four colors, Yellow, Green, Blue and Red. When activated, they  make [[! Block]]s of the corresponding color whole (and, therefore, usable).
